I hope you and Les realize how valuable your posts are. My biggest fear is never learning Spanish to a point where I can be truly conversational. It's probably the most challenging thing I have ever attempted in my life.
Esto es excelente. ¡Gracias!
Espero que tú y Les se deis cuenta como de lo útil sus historias son. Mi lo mejor preocupación es nunca aprendiendo Español entonces puedo hablar con fluido. Es probablemente lo más desafiante cosa que he intentado en mi vida.
Ultimately, I think it’s going to take time, effort, and patience to become truly conversational in Spanish (or any other language other than English for that matter). We’re just going to keep trying and pushing ourselves. Unfortunately it’s all too easy to throw up your hands and default to English, especially in a large city such as Barcelona. We’ve met Anglophones who’ve lived here for years and have never spoken Spanish aside from a few words or phrases. It’s no wonder foreign residents have a poor reputation in some quarters.
I think you’ll do fine. You’re motivated, engaged, and have support at home. It can get frustrating but when the words do flow, you’ll be amazed!
This is great. Thank you!

Lo escribí con un poco de ayuda :-)
